Pontiac Part II
So back to the Pontiac.
The E-test has be done and it passed with flying colors. As for the safety test, not too good as we mentioned in the previous post.
The brakelines have been changed and we should be picking up the car tonight. Hopefully it won't reach up over $500 because I don't have that kind of money to burn on the car.
After the brakelines are done, and we get the car back, we're going to be having an insurance appointment the next day (tomorrow, May 6th, 2010) and this weekend we should be getting our liscence plates. So all in all, the car will have new brakelines, the plates, and fully insured in about a week, I'm pretty excited.
Finally the freedom of having our own car to go anywhere at any time. Feels good.

Pontiac Part I
One damn good feeling is getting your first car. YOUR first car, not daddy's nice car. YOUR car.
Man does that not ever feel good, but then once you start putting money into it, it really sucks.
This weekend me and my girlfriend took are car in for an E-test and a Safety test. As for the results... well I wasn't too impressed.
The thing is about used cars is when you buy them, the seller will NEVER ... ever tell you every little disadvantage about the car.
We bought a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am Se, not too bad for a starter car. This car is 14 years old upon this day. I could have guessed that we should worry about rust, but the car looked so good on the inside and outside, that we just went with it. Now, it turns out that the brakelines were completely rusted, it passed the E-test no problem, but as for safety, we need new brake lines.
Brake lines seem like a small deal since they're not that hardly fixed but man are they expansive. We have to pay approximately 500$ for new brakelines and ''apparently'' the drums are too big on the breaks, but before we pay for that, I'm gonna look at that myself, before getting jipped off by these low end businesses.
Anyway other than that things are great with the car, it'll be on the road in no time.

Wonderland Part III
So Wonderland was great and I had lots of fun, espacially with who I went with. There's one thing that's bothering me though, last time we went, someone chikened out!
This prevented me from trying Behemoth because I wanted to go with her! Anyway next time she's gonna have to come on; Behemoth, Drop Tower, and all the scary ones! WAHAHAHA.
Hopefully I don't get puked on though. So next time should probably be around May 22nd because the water parks don't open till then so we decided we should go when they open. Riding rollercoasters and rides all day really wears you out and taking a nice splash break in the water park would have felt great.
I am really looking forward to the next time we go and I just can't wait to go to the water park after hours and hours of heat. I'll let you guys know if ''she'' CHIKENS OUT AGAIN! :P

Wonderland Part II
Alright, so back to the Wonderland subject.
We went to Wonderland last weekend, and the best thing happened. My girlfriend, her brother, my brother and me, all went together. Just as we thought we were late, it just so happened that there were no line-ups because it was supposed to rain that day and I guess people didn't want to risk it.
The last time I went to Canada's Wonderland I had to wait for 2 hours straight for most of the rides, just to try it out once...
This year the whole day we didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for the rides. We got there and most of the time no one was even in line!
Anyway I had a blast, I went on ALL the rides except maybe 3 of them out of about 65 rides.
I kept the 3 last ones for next time, since we all got ourselves a season's pass.
I had a great time and I am very glad we went. I'm sure they had a good time also.

Damien was born in Kingston, july 21st 1978. He is one of Bob Marley's youngest sons.
The great trenchtown which his father Bob Marley moved to as a teenager (Trenchtown, Kingston). Damien is another one of Bob's sons who carry on his legacy upon this day.
Damien has become a great icon in today's jamaïcan raggae, soul, and dancehall. He has various CD's which some of them are great hits.
Damien has created friendship with alot of great hip-hop, R&B, raggae, and many more types of singers of today such as;
Snoop-Dogg, Nas, Yami Bolo, K'naan, and of course his siblings who are now also in the music business: Stephen Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, Ziggy Marley, Julian Marley, and of course, his biggest inspiration remains his father, Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley).
Damien has produced a few CDs and his greatest hit of all has been the one and only ''Welcome To Jamrock''.

Bob Marley's Legacy
Bob Marley may have been dead for 28 years up to this day, but his legacy will not die.
Bob had 11 children before his heart gave out, and 1 after it did.
A few of his children, looked up to there dad as a god. They looked up to him as a high power, as inspiration, and as the greatest father in the world. Up to this day, not only Bob Marley, is still heard all over the world, but also his sons and daughters. His children are part of his legacy, and a big part of this, is Ziggy Marley.
Ziggy Marley is Bob's oldest son, the one who he made sure, could take care of his siblings after he left the earth. As Bob keeps on living in our music, and in our hearts, Ziggy pursuits his father's goal, and his father's legacy.
Ziggy was nominated grammies this year, for his ''children tunes'' in his album ''family time''.
Ziggy and a couple of Bob Marley's sons, keep his spirit at the grammies, and takes big pride in his dedicated work to a pursuit of peacefull, and zen living.
Ziggy throughout his dad's death, keeps on going with his head up, and is now forming his own legacy.
In an interview Ziggy speaks of a great saying ''Positive Vibration''. He explain's how this is not only a saying, but a way of life. A way of being. This saying keeps him going, and keeps the Marleys alive.
